The Scottish Local Government Elections were held on Thursday 5 May 2022.  The electronic counting of votes took place at The Portal, High Street, Irvine on Friday 6 May 2022 where 33 Councillors were returned for the North Ayrshire area.  Details of the results are published below.

Ward 2 – Garnock Valley – 5 Councillors Elected

Ward 3 – Ardrossan – 3 Councillors Elected

Ward 4 – Arran – 1 Councillor Elected

Ward 5 – Saltcoats and Stevenston – 5 Councillors Elected

Ward 6 – Kilwinning – 4 Councillors Elected

Ward 7 – Irvine West – 4 Councillors Elected

Ward 8 – Irvine East – 3 Councillors Elected

Ward 9 – Irvine South – 3 Councillors Elected
