Biography:

Councillor John Easdale was first elected as a Labour representative for the Irvine East ward at the May 2012 local government elections.

Councillor Easdale is Vice Chair of the Irvine Locality Partnership.  He also sits on the Appeals Committee, the Licensing Committee and Board and the Local Development Plan Committee.  He represents North Ayrshire Council on the Ayrshire Valuation Joint Board and the National Association of Councillors.
